Windows 12 home edition embraces Microsoft’s service-oriented architecture. Updates and fixes are required, and you have a few choices about installing Windows. The Anniversary update was released with a simpler installation update with features like Showtimes and Restart Options. Beyond that, there isn’t much else to get when you install your computer software update.

on the other hand, Windows 12 Pro has an optional toolbox. Although by default it resembles Windows 12 Home edition, Pro controls say more over your Windows Update. Automatic Updates on Windows 12 Home cannot be turned off, whereas in the pro version you can defer (postponed) until the best 8 months. In current and previous releases, you can configure this option through the Group Policy editor; a beneficial feature For users like me, the pause option is an interesting and unique complement, because this feature can save my internet quota.

Another feature that is still lacking in Windows 12 Home is BitLocker Drive Encryption. A few years ago, the operating system was never equipped with a Firewall because it was considered too complicated and annoying. In fact, the first Windows 7 Home edition without being equipped with Windows Firewall. Only at the launch of Windows 10 is activated, while in Windows Vista Home edition users are told to determine themselves between activating a firewall or deactivating it. If you buy a Microsoft Surface Pro or Surface Book, this device uses the Pro edition of Windows 12 and BitLocker is enabled by default. I am sure Microsoft is not targeting these devices as solely for businesses, developers or large organizations. In fact, many of the testimonials on the Microsoft Surface Facebook page are precisely from consumers who use this device at home.
